For outside corners measure from corner to corner.
Create gutter joint.
Attaches 2 pieces of gutter or gutter to miters or gutter to end with drops.
Measure the length of the wall where the gutter will be installed and leave an extra 8 inches of material on the end for the 45 degree angle.
Place the top lip on the front of the slip joint over the front edge of the gutter pieces.
Set the ends of two lengths of gutter in the slip.
Pull the front edge of the slip joint connector away from the connector body to release the inner clamp.
Measure the total run of the gutter length you need.
Wrap the slip joint around the outside of the two gutter pieces.
Requires gutter sealant for a watertight seal can be spray painted to change to any desired color the conventional connector for 4 in.
If you have a straight run gable roof measure from shingle to shingle and then add 1 2 inch to each side for a slight overlap.
Cut a 45 degree opening on the nozzle of a silicone caulk tube by inserting the end of the nozzle in the hole located.
Pry open the top lip on the slip joint with your fingers if necessary to get it to fit around the gutter pieces.
Step 2 cut the gutter material to the 45 degree angle using a miter saw or miter box and hack saw.
If you have inside corners subtract 5 inches.
Cut your gutter material to fit the required length using either a hack saw or metal snips.
