Print then cut calibration within cricut design space there is a print then cut calibration.
Cricut print and cut not cutting right.
This will allow you to print a test page and then cut it with the cricut machine.
I followed the instructions of one youtube video to unlock the image proportions on the canvas in design space and enter the exact proportions as seen on photoshop and this seemed to help a lot for one cut.
Your cricut can draw write with markers but that is different.
In the cricut design space select a print then cut image and click go if this is your first time using print then cut it will prompt you to calibrate.
Click the inside of the shape to hide the inner cut line.
You may need to increase the pressure settings 2 3 times by increments of 2 4 to see a change in the cut result.
Do you experience the same result.
Now if you have checked the list above and your machine still is not acting right or cutting correctly you may need to change your setting.
I ve watched several youtube videos of people using the cricut for print cut it they don t appear to have any problems with cut accuracy.
The machine will cut a series of lines and ask the user a series of questions that will allow the machine to calibrate the best settings for the print then cut.
The cricut doesn t actually print your image.
Sometimes you can use the correct setting and that still happens.
You actually need to use a printer along with your cricut explore air or cricut maker.
Click the x in the upper right corner to exit this box.
Print and cut is a little different than your normal cutting of vinyl and iron on vinyl.
Print the calibration sheet provided by the software.
If not it may be an issue with the original material you are attempting to cut.
Attempt cutting a different material such as printer paper using the appropriate setting for that material.
How to change the setting.
Move the solid shape on top of the text and original shape.
