Here is a very simple and cheap way to clean a cricut cutting mat. You may also place the water in a nearby bowl. In this video i share 5 tips on how to clean and re stick your cricut cutting mats. My favorite is to soak up a washcloth in soapy water and then place it on top of the mat for a few minutes to kind of let the dirt soften.

Use a plastic hard bristled brush to gently scrub the mat in a circular motion. For deep cleaning you can always use a washcloth with soapy water. If your cricut mat has truly seen better days it might be time for a bath in some soap and water. Give your mat a light cleaning when it loses some of its stickiness.

This should loosen most of the dirt and build up off the mat. Once in a while you will want to give your cricut mat a bath using a container that s filled with soapy water. Then wipe an alcohol free baby wipe or roll a lint roller over the surface. If there is stuff that won t come off then employ a small brush and rinse with warm water.

Let your mat soak in warm water for 10 minutes then remove.
